French star striker Kylian Mbappe has signed a ‘free transfer’ deal with Real Madrid. After his contract with PSG expires on June 30, he will be officially signed to the club in the transfer window that opens on July 1.
Mbappe signed a verbal agreement with the club last February. He officially announced that he will leave PSG at the end of the season last May.
Mbappe, 25, will now come to Madrid as the LaLiga transfer window opens. Madrid will likely make the deal public next week. The club is preparing to officially announce him before the start of the Eurocup.
2018 World Cup winner Mbappe has scored a record 256 goals for PSG. He joined PSG from Monaco in 2017.
He has signed a contract with Real until 2029. He will receive 150 million euros over five years as a bonus, while receiving 15 million euros per season. Apart from that, he will also receive the money for image rights.
