27 January, Kathmandu. Nepal is back in the match against Canada in ODI cricket.
Canada got off to a good start after winning the toss and electing to bat at the Trivi Cricket Ground, Kirtipur. Opener Aaron Jones and Navneet Daliwa shared a partnership of 94 runs for the first wicket.
Even after that, Pragada Singh and Nicholas Kirton tried to handle the innings. But in the 32nd over, captain Rohit Kumar Paudel took two consecutive wickets and brought Nepal back into the game.
Wicketkeeper Asif Sheikh stumped Kirton in the fifth ball. He was dismissed for 20 runs, when Canada’s score was 180/4.
