Kathmandu – Google Chrome, which has been providing free browsing services on different platforms, is now going to make its service paid.
Google has introduced free and paid options in the new Enterprise Premium version of Chrome. Chrome Enterprise Premium is a paid service, so users get some extra features in it.
According to Google, this new and paid version of Chrome will provide users with complete online data protection from malware, spyware and other cyber attacks like phishing attacks.
It is said to be more useful for organizations, enterprises and businesses looking for other options for data protection.
With this service, Google wants to eliminate the need to depend on unnecessary browsers and download antivirus or anti-malware applications, and is providing its own data protection tools in the browser itself.
However, the availability of features will depend on the paid version models. Essential tools like data loss prevention and malware deep scanning will not be available in the free core model.
While the features of all these security tools will be available in the premium version of Google Chrome. Chrome Enterprise is integrated with other enterprise software such as Google Workspace to provide a seamless service.
Chrome Enterprise Premium will be available for enterprises for $6 per month.
The new web version of Google Chrome is now available to general users, which means enterprises and businesses can now purchase a paid version of Chrome to fully protect their business data through the Chrome Enterprise Premium website and Google Chrome.
