Kathmandu. NEPCO Entertainment Music Awards 2080 has concluded. NEPCO Entertainment Pvt Ltd has organized this award for the first time with the aim of contributing to the art sector with the slogan “Our campaign to protect the honor of Nepali song and music workers”.
Singer Hari Gopal Pradhan won the award for the best song of national sentiment with the song “Chandra Surya” in a ceremony hosted by the First Vice President Parmanand Jha, while the award for the best music producer went to Surya Bahadur Magar of Surya Creations Pvt. Ltd. Singer Savina Budha Magar managed to win the award for the best festival song with the song ‘Dasain Tihar Aamaan’.
Pop Song New Model Award went to Ganesh Kuvar, National Song Model Jury Award went to Sudeep Shrestha. Similarly, Basant Raj Gautam won the award for modern song model, Shivan Pokharel won the award for best model of folk song, Sivan Pokharel won the award for best model of modern song, Kusum Sharma Sakamvari, and Yubraj Chantyal won for the word of folk song.
Director and model Shivan Pokharel, who received the best model award for Folk Dohori, also thanked NEPCO Entertainment Music for giving him the award. Singer Dhan Bahadur Damai Deepak Lakhe got the best award for Dhasi Poorveli Terse Bhaka, while Janaki Thapa Magar got the best custom designer award. Singer Netra Bhandari has won the best singer award for the best folk genre with the song “Jhari”.
Lakshmi Regmi won the best singer award for the song Khukuri Rum. Similarly, Rom Bahadur Shrestha was chosen as the best new singer for Oi Saili, while Spesh Lamichhane won the best new model award for the song Bhok Geet. While Kamala Pokharel won the public choice award for the best female singer for the song Chari Basainma, singer Deep Sagar Thapa managed to win the public choice award for the male singer for the folk song Phool Jai.
While Kalyan Singh won the award for the best music in the pop category, singer Dhurb Khanal won the Jury Award for the best lyrics of a modern song in the category of national sentiment. Similarly, Neeraj Kumar bagged the award for the best music for the modern song, while Niraj Kumar won the award for the best female model for the modern song, Dhokewajan-20.
Prakash Dura won the award for the best singer in the live double category for ‘Mali Gailai’, Arvad Jagat Bahadur Gharti for Taman Khola live double singer, and Rita Rawat won the award for the best female singer for the Teej song of Mero Raja Bol. Singer Yogesh Pan won Arwad for Khuching Khuching pop song while Shakti Chand won the best word award for Bheri and Karnali folk song.
Similarly, Shivan Pokharel won the best model male award for the Carrie Hasam Khai folk song and Kushum Sharma received the best model female award for the Sakambari folk song. Arwad Basant Raj Gautam won the best jury for folk songs, while Arwad Ganesh Kunwar managed to win the jury for the pop category. Padam Rai won the award for the best male singer for Sarkari Adda song, while Anand Singh won the public choice award for Tibina Modern song.
Subas Shrestha Pradhan received the public choice award for the motorcycle modern song. Milan Moktan bagged the award for Best Composer of Words for Anayasai Aandhi Chalyo, while Niroj Kumar bagged Juri Arvad for Jharnako Chisho Pani Modern Song. Yuvraj Chantyal won the public choice award for the Maya folk song of Gaon, while Dhruv Khanal won the public choice award for the national anthem song Manaima Bas. In the program, singer Sarmila Gurung was awarded National Singer Award, Khyam Narayan Paudel was awarded National Businesswoman Award, Kamala Shrestha was awarded National Woman Entrepreneur Award, Pravin Kala Rai was awarded National Woman Entrepreneur Award, Home Gayre was awarded National NEPCO Entertainment Music Award Audience Singer Award,
Devi Hamal was awarded National Woman Entrepreneur Award, Dr. .Bhola Rizal National Artist Award, Dinesh Moktan National Business Award, Isha Lohagun Kaushal Sound Award, Roshni Rasaili Thank You Award, Sanjiv Barmasakha IT Award, Journalist Umesh Vick Award, Raj Karki National Business Award, Purna Bahadur Khatri National Social Service Award, Prem Kumar Bharti, Dinesh Muskaan, Utsah Ghimire, Laxman Raj Acharya were awarded National Merit Award, Khadg Veer Rawat, Mukesh Kumar Chaudhary, Tul Bahadur Thapa, Ashiq Lama and Keshwaraj Pandey were awarded with National Professional Award and Nepal Air Lions with a letter of thanks.
