Kathmandu. After the US embassy in Nepal refused to grant a visa to cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane, the supporters of Lamichhane expressed their anger on the embassy’s social media. Cricket supporters expressed their anger on the embassy’s Facebook page and X handle.
Lamichhane posted on social media on Wednesday that the American embassy did not give him a visa to go to the World Cup T-20 cricket tournament to be held in America and West Indies. Soon after that, social media users started expressing their anger in support of Lamichhane.
If you look at the posts posted by the embassy on the social network Facebook, you can see that there is a flood of ‘angry’ (angry) reactions. If we look at the reactions on social media posts, it can be seen that only 70 percent more angry reactions are done.
Supporters commented on the post of that page and pressured Lamichhane to provide a visa. For that, various hashtags have been kept in support of Lamichhane. Some have even warned that they will throw stones at the embassy building if Sandeep is not given a visa.
Some have questioned the reason for refusing to grant visa to Lamichhane.
