Kathmandu – At TU Ground, Kirtipur, on Sunday, Kathmandu Gorkhas beat Karnali Yaks by 5 wickets to register their fourth victory.
Chasing Karnali’s target of 150 runs, Kathmandu completed it in 18 overs, losing 5 wickets. The unbeaten 43 from Gerhard Erasmus and 41 from Jon Simpson, with their 86-run partnership, laid the foundation for the victory.
Batting first after winning the toss, Karnali scored 149 runs in 20 overs, losing 7 wickets. Gulshan Jha remained unbeaten on 49 runs off 22 balls, while Pawan Sarraf contributed 35 runs.
Rashid Khan from Kathmandu took 2 wickets while Karan KC, Milind Kumar and Santosh Yadav picked up one wicket each.
