Kathmandu: Spain has entered the finals of Euro Cup 2024 by defeating France. Spain beat France 2-1 in the first semi-final on Tuesday night, with Lamine Yamal setting the record for the youngest goalscorer at the Euros.
France took the early lead in the match at the Munich Arena. Within 9 minutes, Randal Kolo Mauny scored to give France the lead. However, in the 21st minute, Lamin Yamal scored a great goal from outside the penalty box to tie the game 1-1. Yamal is a 16-year-old player. With the goal, he has managed to write a record in his name.
Spain took a 2-1 lead in the 25th minute of the match when Dani Olmo’s powerful strike was converted into a goal. Since then, no goals have been scored in the match and Spain has managed to reach the finals.
Spain will now play the winner of the semi-final between the Netherlands and England on Wednesday night for the title. Spain came close to the title after 12 years.
