KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has accused those who destroyed their own clans to talk about rituals now. He alleged that a group of people were praising the feudal king by opposing the republic and federalism.
Addressing a program held in Tanahun, he said that those who praise the king are now doing anti-republican activities. ‘Some people were already anti-republican. was anti-federalism. Those same people are saying that they will not even make laws, that federalism is not working,” Prime Minister Dahal said, “Feudal kings did not shed blood inside the palace. Kotparva, Bhandarkhal did not? Nowadays they are the ones who talk about rites. Those who destroyed their own clan in Narayanhiti to the democrats who talk about culture?.’
Prime Minister Dahal stated that he discussed with the leaders of the political parties after the anti-republican activities. He said that in that discussion, the leaders got the assurance that they would sacrifice their lives to end the anti-republican activities. A few days ago, I called all the leaders to see whether we should sit together. Everyone there is committed. They have said that they are ready to go to the streets against it. The leader of the opposition party has said that he will die even more,’ he said.
He said that the democratic republic was established through a great struggle and said that the system cannot be reversed. He said that the Nepali people cannot forget that two hundred people died in one day for the change of system.
He said that the constitution envisages a three-tier government, and he said that the state government will be further organized. He said that police, civil and education laws are necessary to strengthen the province and said that those bills have been taken to the parliament for discussion. He says that if the people cannot be assured that it will feel like a provincial government, it will not be like a province.
He said that even if the game to destroy the government starts, he will not allow it to happen. He says that the alliance will last for five years and the alliance will not be shaken by anyone. “There is unity within the alliance,” he said. He said that he has nothing to do, no matter how many days he is the prime minister, he will work for the country, good governance and prosperity.
He said that after the visit of United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres to Nepal, there has been a drop in tourists. Guterres, who came to Nepal impressed by his presentation, said that the visit of Guterres sent a good message to the world and urged the people to be proud of the work of the government.
