She claimed that she and her family were cheated out of 16.5 million Nepalese Rupees, including 1.5 million Rupees kept with the Bhuvan Chaitanya Basundhara Foundation. She demanded the government to take appropriate action against the mismanagement of thousands of cooperatives.
