The government will immediately send 10 million rupees to Jajarkoet and Rukum Paschim, which were most affected by the earthquake. The government has decided to provide immediate financial assistance of five crore rupees each to these two districts from the Central Relief Management Fund.
Home Information Officer Umakanta Adhikari informed that the decision was taken after a meeting of stakeholders held at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Saturday.
The meeting also decided to operate the relief distribution through a one-door system. Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha informed after the meeting that the work of sending blankets, tents and food grains has been done and the provincial government and the district management committee have been instructed to inform immediately in case of shortage.
