Agency. The 35th match of the ODI World Cup 2023 between New Zealand and Pakistan continues at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
In this match, New Zealand got the chance to bat first. The 23-year-old opening batsman for New Zealand, Rachin, has scored an excellent century with the bat of Ravindra.
Ravindra has broken many records by playing a brilliant innings of 108 runs off 94 balls.
Ravindra has also achieved the record of scoring three centuries in his debut World Cup.
After the return of captain Kane Williamson in this match, the New Zealand team decided to play Rachin Ravindra as the opening batsman. Ravindra put pressure on the Pakistani bowlers from the start and shared a quick 68-run partnership with Devon Conway for the first wicket.
After this, Ravindra completed his third century in this World Cup by sharing 180 runs with captain Williamson for the second wicket.
Rachin Ravindra has also broken Sachin Tendulkar’s record of scoring 2 centuries while scoring the most centuries in the Under-25 World Cup.
Rachin has so far scored 523 runs in his debut World Cup and is now behind Jonny Bairstow who scored 532 runs in the 2019 World Cup. Rachin has now become the youngest player to score more than 500 runs in his first World Cup.
