Navalpur, Asar 22. Narayani River has passed the warning treaty. With the passing of the warning, the District Administration Office has urged residents on the banks of the Nawalpurle river to be on high alert.
A water level of 11 meters in Narayani River is considered as a sign of danger. According to the statistics of the Department of Water and Meteorology, the water level in Narayanima is now 11.21 meters.
Chief District Officer Arun Pokhrel said that the water level in Narayani River and Kaligandaki River has been rising for some days due to heavy rains in various districts of Gandaki region. Narayani river water level measurement has passed the vigilance treaty and urged to take vigilance due to increased risk of river erosion and floods.

Similarly, it has been raining continuously since last 5 days in Navalpuram. It has been raining heavily since last night. In the last 24 hours, 101.8 mm of rain has fallen in the district and 25.4 mm of rain has fallen in the last 1 hour, the department said.
With the heavy rain since night, the flow of water in Kawasotiko Kerunge Khola, Lokaha Khola, Dandako Patthar Khola, Giruwari Khola, Daldaleko Bolaha Khola and Narayani river has increased.
Even though the water level of the river and the river is below the danger level, the district administration office has urged people to be vigilant as the level of the Narayani river and the river will rise due to continuous heavy rains.
Navalpur is also a high risk district due to the current active monsoon and has urged everyone to be alert. The meeting held a few days ago by the Disaster Management Committee had urged security agencies like the Municipality, Red Cross, Police to remain on high alert.
