Various demands have led to protests by construction entrepreneurs, including a demonstration with a bulldozer in Baluwatar. The demands include timely payment for construction work, extension of all deadlines for events, and nine other issues.
The Nepal Construction Entrepreneurs Association protested with a bulldozer, including outside the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar, demanding price adjustments for significant and unexpected price hikes, resolution of other affected and non-budgeted projects, and the completion of projects outside the Kathmandu Valley based on fair bidding and public procurement laws.
The Armed Police Force personnel have been accused of misconduct after they forcefully removed clothes from a woman for security reasons in Inaruwa Municipality-4, Sunsari.
Nepali consumers who returned from the Indian market on Sunday were accused of misconduct by the Armed Police, alleging that they removed clothes from a woman named Sunitha Chaudhary and Jhumakki Hira Chaudhary. Four other women, Vasanti Chaudhary, Shyamvati Chaudhary, and Chanavati Chaudhary, were also accused of misconduct by the Armed Police.
Nepal Communist Party (NCP) chairman KP Sharma Oli claimed that the government was behind the smuggling case of gold from the airport. He criticized Maoist leaders for not going beyond the Sun smuggling incident.
During an address at the NCP’s central office in Lalitpur, Chairman Oli accused Maoist leaders of being involved in the gold smuggling incident and attempting to divert the case elsewhere.

On Tuesday, the Committee on Agriculture and Water Resources Development under the House of Representatives urged the government to expedite the investigation into the situation caused by the recent flooding in Samakhusi Khola, Sajjan Alemagar’s (Sajan) locality.
The committee meeting held in Singhadurbar on Tuesday requested the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, and Minister Prakash Jwala, to coordinate with relevant bodies to address the issue of road, slope, and physical infrastructure management in a unified manner.
Committee member Pradeep Poudel suggested a long-term solution to the problem of physical infrastructure management in Samakhushi, and committee member Thakur Gaire recommended continuing the intense search for Sajan Alemagar, who was swept away during the floods.
In Kathmandu’s Pani Pokhari, at Bhanaubhakt Memorial School, a boy named Sun, who was studying in the 6th grade, was playing futsal in Samakhusi Khola without anyone noticing when he fell into the river. Nine days have passed since the incident, and he has not been found yet.
