CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairperson Madhav Kumar Nepal said leaders must be honest when it comes to building the nation.
Addressing a program organized by the All Nepal National Free Student Union (ANNFSU) Kathmandu District Committee in Kathmandu on Tuesday, leader Nepal, also former Prime Minister, expressed his dismay that the top leaders of political leaders were not honest towards the country and thus emphasized honesty.
We have not kept the country and people at the center stage. If anyone offends our honor, it will not be acceptable to any Nepalis,” cautioned Nepal.
He expressed displeasure that the political leaders were more focused on personal interest rather than being honest towards the country.
Expressing his concern about the danger looming large over the political achievements and gains obtained through repeated struggles and sacrifices, he called for unity among the people to protect it.
According to him, the constitution that was promulgated after rigorous efforts had addressed several agendas guaranteeing rights to many. “Although there was no lacking while writing and promulgating the constitution, there is a problem regarding its implementation which should not be the case,” he remarked.
