Recently the Kathmandu Metropolitan City conducted an inspection of the Sky Walk Tower which is located in Kamaladi. The purpose of the inspection was to assess the quality of materials used structural integrity and compliance with legal regulations and fees related to the operation of the tower.
The Sky Walk Tower situated in South Asia’s tallest tower, stands at a height of 78.5 meters. After its construction was completed the facility allows individuals to access the tower by paying a fee of NPR 1,000 per person. However the spokesperson of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Navin Manandhar emphasized the need for an inspection to ensure that the standard of materials used, adherence to the approved design and the arrangement of facilities such as parking were up to the mark.
The tower was constructed by Wonder Nepal Pvt. Ltd. and consists of 22 floors. It offers amenities such as two elevators and an MP theater among others.
