Due to rain, the second semi-final match of the T-20 World Cup cricket tournament between India and England has been stopped.
Guyana was batting on 65 for the loss of two wickets in 8 overs after India lost their innings at the Providence Stadium and play had to be stopped after water entered the ground.
India lost their first wicket in the form of Virat Kohli for 9 runs and the second wicket in the form of Rishabh Pant for four runs. However, according to Nepal time, the game was supposed to start at 8:15 pm, but due to rain, the game was delayed by about an hour from the scheduled time.
The Indian team remained undefeated in the ongoing competition and reached the semi-finals. Uttar Pradesh lost to Australia in the group stage and South Africa in the Super 8.
