Surendra Rai and Susan Tamang of the Nepali dance crew ‘Wild Reparge Crew’ have managed to register their names in the ‘Guinness Book of World Records’. This couple, who represented Nepal, made a record in the Guinness book by doing dance choreography at the highest place from the ground.
Susan and Surendra perfected their art at Kalapathar in Solukhumbu, Nepal on May 19, 2024, i.e. on the Nepali date of June 6. Kalapatthar is 5644.5 meters (18,519 feet) high. Surendra and Susan set the record at 5,441 meters (17,851 feet).
The lyrics of the song presented by Susan and Surendra were ‘Man Magan’. This effort of Susan and Surendra was supported by Sougat Karki in photography and Sonam KC and Umesh Sapkota in videography. Their efforts have been approved by ‘Guinness World Records’.
Surendra said, ‘We have made this record-breaking effort to spread public awareness about our mountains and environmental protection, and to promote Nepal’s tourism.
Sanu Sherpa was the special witness of the record keeping record of this couple. Sanu has written his name in the ‘Guinness Book of World Records’ by climbing the fourteen highest mountains of eight thousand meters twice as the fastest.
