The top title of ‘Miss Heritage Petit Universe 2024‘ has been won by Nepal’s Manisha Rajbanshi. There were competitors from 43 countries in the international competition held recently in Bangkok, Thailand.
Manisha Rajbanshi of Jhapa Bahardashi 6, who won the title of the competition, has done her MA in Sociology. She is also a teacher. She is also currently doing a thesis on the Rajvanshi community.
She says that since there is not much presence in the field of acting and modeling from her community, she participates in modeling competitions and beauty pageants with the thought of doing something good. She won the title of Miss Rajvanshi (second runner-up) in 2018, Miss Grace Kathmandu (second runner-up) in 2019, Miss Rajvanshi in 2018 and became the winner of Miss Diva in 2021.
‘I did not come into modeling just to try this’, says Manisha. She narrated the experience that she was able to groom herself a lot while participating in competitions. Her eyes look very beautiful with a photogenic face. She looks attractive and bold in the photo and is a young girl with potential for modeling.
The tournament was held in Bangkok from November 9 to 16. The participants from 43 countries were taken to Thailand by Promoting Solutions, an organization of which Nepal’s Pramila Chhetri is the National Director. The team was led by the event director Ramesh Shahi. Along with Manisha Rajbanshi, Prashita Budhathoki, Vasant Lamichhane, Sushmita Shrestha and Alisha Lowe from Nepal reached Thailand to participate in other categories of the competition. Nepal’s event director Ramesh Shahi said that Nepal has managed to win many titles in other categories as well.
