Three members of the Nepali National Cricket Team are going to play in the Canadian Franchise League.
Nepali national cricket team captain Rohit Paudel, all-rounder Dipendrasinh Airi and leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane are going to play in the Global T20 League starting from July 25 in Canada.
Dipendra and Sandeep are in the same team. They were both signed by the Vancouver Knights.
Dipendra played for the Montreal Tigers in the previous edition of the league. His team also won the league title at that time.
Sandeep has also played in the league with Montreal Tigers and Toronto.
Pakistan’s Babar Azam, Mohammad Amir, and Mohammad Rizwan are also present in the team consisting of Dipendra and Sandeep. Dwayne Pretorius of South Africa is also in the same team.
Captain Rohit Paudel has signed with Toronto Nationals. He is going to play franchise league outside the country for the first time.
Rohit’s team includes Shaheen Afridi, Colin Munro, Rasi van der Dushen, Saad Bin Zafar, Nicholas Kirton, Junaid Siddiqui and others.
