Kathmandu. Ireland has set a target of 97 runs against India in the ICC Twenty20 World Cup.
After losing the toss and batting in New York on Wednesday, Ireland could score only 96 runs after losing all wickets in 16 overs.
None of Ireland’s batsmen, who looked innocent against the Indian bowlers, could make a significant performance. Ireland’s Gareth Delaney scored 26 runs. Jas Little added 14, Curtis Campher 12 and Lorcan Tucker 10.
Hardik Pandya took three wickets to wrap up Ireland cheaply. Bowling four overs, Pandya bowled a maiden and cost 27 runs.
