Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane is shocked after the US refused to grant him a visa to play in the T-20 World Cup despite the court acquitting him. He congratulated the Nepali team on Tuesday with a heavy heart.
On Wednesday, Sandeep went to visit Dahare Deurali temple in his native Syangja to forget his mind. He himself published the picture of visiting the temple and taking blessings from the priest through social media.
Dahare Deurali Temple is located in Arjunchoupari rural municipality-5 of Syangja, located on the border with the mountain. Syangja is the birth district of Sandeep.
Sandeep was called twice for an interview, but the embassy refused to grant him a visa.
The Nepali team without Sandeep lost to the Netherlands in the first match.
Nepal now has to play against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and South Africa.
