Dallas (Our Sports) – The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the prize money for the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the West Indies and America.
While announcing the highest prize money in the history of the World Cup this time, the ICC has announced that the winner will be given 2.45 million US dollars i.e. 325 million rupees. Along with this, the runner-up will receive 16 crore rupees.
While the team that loses in the semi-finals will get Rs 11.5 crore, the team competing in the Super 8 will also get at least Rs 5 crore.
The four teams that finish third in the group stage of the World Cup will get Rs 30 million and the bottom two teams in each group will get around Rs 30 million. Every team will get an additional prize of Rs 40 lakh for winning a match in the World Cup.
Nepal is in Group D of the World Cup this time. Nepal is in the group with South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and the Netherlands. Nepal is playing its first match on Tuesday. The match will start at 9:15 PM Nepali time (10:30 AM local time).
