Indian industrialist,
Mukesh Ambani, owner of
Reliance Company, has received
death threats. According to the news agency ANI, they demanded 200 million Indian rupees from him and threatened to kill him if he did not pay.
According to the Mumbai Police, he received the threat through an email on Friday. “If you don’t pay us Rs 20 crore we will kill you, we have India’s number one shooter,” the email read. According to the police, the threat was sent by a person named Shadab Khan.
Mumbai police have already registered a case under section 387 and 506 of IPC in Gadevi Than and investigation is on.
This is not the first time that Mukesh Ambani has received threats. Just last year, the Mumbai police had arrested a man from Bihar who threatened Mukesh Ambani and his family. At that time, the person had threatened to bomb Mukesh Ambani’s house and Reliance Foundation Hospital.
Similarly, in 2021, an SUV loaded with explosive curtains was found near Ambani’s house.
BBC has written that Mukesh Ambani, who is also the chairman of Reliance Industries, has received death threats asking for money.
According to the Mumbai Police, an unknown person has demanded Rs 20 crore from Mukesh Ambani through email. They threatened to kill him if he did not give the money.
The email sent by the person said, ‘If you do not give us twenty crore rupees (Bharoo), we will take your life. We have very good shooters (shooters) in India.’
The BBC reported that the threat to Mukesh Ambani came from an email from a person named Shadab Khan on October 27.
