An arrest warrant has been issued against director Sudarshan Thapa and editor Milan Shrestha. An arrest warrant has been issued against them based on the complaint of Subas Basnet and Jack Shrestha, the producers of the film ‘Prasad 2’. They have been accused of defrauding crores of rupees by showing films in the country and abroad without their permission.
According to District Police Complex Kathmandu, producers Basnet and Shrestha have filed a complaint against three people for showing the film in the country and abroad without their permission.
One of the three, Omprakash Agarwal, the owner of OSR Digital, was arrested on Friday. The court allowed him to be detained for four days for investigation.
