Kathmandu. India defeated Iran in the second match of the Kava Women’s Volleyball Nations League tournament today. India defeated Iran 3-1 in the match at the National Sports Council (Rakhep) Covered Hall in Tripureshwar.
India won the first and second sets by 25-20 and 25-18 respectively. In the third set, Iran came back and won the match 25-19. After defeating Iran 25-10 in the next set, India’s victory was confirmed.
In the first match of the tournament, Nepal defeated Sri Lanka 3-0 in straight sets.
