French football superstar Kylian Mbappe is preparing to become the owner of the club.
According to media reports, Mbappe has prepared to buy the majority shares of French second division club Caen. It is said that 25-year-old Mbappe, who left French club PSG and joined Spanish giants Real Madrid, will spend 20 million euros to buy 80 percent of the Normandy outfit from American investor Oaktree.
Mbappe almost joined Kane as a teenager before signing for the Monaco club early in his career. Kane finished sixth in Ligue 2 last season. The club’s former players include Mbappe’s teammate N’Golo Kante and former defender William Gallas.
Founded in 1913, Kane Club has also become two-time League 2 champions.
