Kathmandu. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has decided to include 16 countries in the Women’s T20 World Cup.
At the ICC board meeting, it was determined that 16 nations will be permitted to compete in the 2030 T-20 World Cup.
Currently, 12 countries are participating in the Women’s T-20 World Cup. Earlier in 2009, 8 countries participated in the first women’s T-20 World Cup, and in 2016, 10 countries participated. Similarly, 12 countries will participate in the Women’s T-20 World Cup to be held in England in 2026.
Similarly, the ICC has set the cut-off date for the 2026 T20 World Cup selection on October 31, 2024.
