Kathmandu. By defeating India in the final, Australia won the ICC U-19 World Cup Cricket title in South Africa.

Defeated by 79 runs in the final in India, Australia won the U-19 World Cup cricket title for the fourth time. Australia previously won the U-19 World Cup in 1988, 2002 and 2010.

Chasing the target of 255 runs given by Australia, India were bundled out for 174 runs in 5 balls in 43 overs. Adarsh ​​Singh scored 47 runs for India. Murugan Perumal Abhishek was dismissed for 42 and Mushir Khan for 22 runs.

In bowling, Australia’s Mahali Birdman and Raphael McMillan took 3 wickets each.
In the final, Australia set a target of 254 runs to India. Earlier, after winning the toss in South Africa’s Benoni, Australia batted first and scored 253 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the scheduled 50 overs. For Australia, Harjus Singh scored 55 runs, captain Hugh Weibgen scored 48 runs, opener Harry Dixon scored 42 runs and Oliver Pick scored 46 runs.

India’s Raj Limbani took 3 wickets and Naman Tiwari took 2 wickets in bowling.
