Kathmandu : Canada has set a target of 286 runs against Nepal. Canada scored 285 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the scheduled overs in the second match of the ODI series against Nepal on Saturday at the Trivi Cricket Ground. Opener Aaron Johnson scored 65 runs for Canada.
He hit 10 fours and 2 sixes. Similarly, another opener Navneet Dhaliwal scored 46 runs, Pargat Singh contributed 38 runs, Shreyas Mobba contributed 40 runs. Mobba was dismissed by Bhim Saraki on the last ball of Sompal Kami.
Captain Rohit Paudel and Kushal Malla took 2 wickets each for Nepal. Akash Chand, Surya Tamang, Pawan Sarraf, who made their debut from the senior team, took 1 wicket each. Sompal Kami also managed to take one more wicket in the last ball. In today’s match, Canada won the toss and elected to bat.
