Kathmandu: Opener Anil Shah has scored a half century. Opener Shah scored a half-century in the one-day series match against Canada on Saturday at the Trivi Cricket Ground.
In the second match of the ODI series, Canada scored 285 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the scheduled overs. Before that, Nepal, chasing a target of 286 runs, was caught out by Asif Ishwarjot, who scored 10 runs in the fifth ball of the fourth over.
Captain Rohit Paudel and Kushal Malla took 2 wickets each for Nepal. Akash Chand, Surya Tamang, Pawan Sarraf, who made their debut from the senior team, took 1 wicket each. Sompal Kami also managed to take one more wicket in the last ball. In today’s match, Canada won the toss and elected to bat.
