Kathmandu – Nepal’s ranking has improved as it has qualified for the ICC T-20 World Cup.
Nepal is ranked 15th in the ICC T20 ranking. Nepal was ranked 16th before the T-20 World Cup Asia Region Qualifying Finals. Nepal won three out of four matches in the World Cup qualifiers. Nepal has improved one position behind the Netherlands.
In the ranking, India is on top, England is second, New Zealand is third, Australia is fourth, Pakistan is fifth, South Africa is sixth, West Indies is seventh, Sri Lanka is eighth and Bangladesh is ninth.
Similarly, Afghanistan is 10th, Zimbabwe 11th, Namibia 12th, Ireland 13th and Scotland 14th. UAE is 17th, Oman 18th and Papua New Guinea 19th.
In the semi-final, Nepal defeated UAE by 8 wickets and qualified for the World Cup. Nepal will play Oman tomorrow for the title.
