Kathmandu. Google has released its Pixel 8 series of phones and Pixel Watch to Smartwatch. Through the ‘Made by Google’ program held on Wednesday night, the company has also announced attractive features that will be available on phones and smartwatches. The company has introduced many artificial intelligence (AI) based features in these phones. One of the features discussed by the company is Audio Magic Eraser. Google has said that this feature will be enabled by the Tensor G3 chipset included in the new model phone. With the help of this, the user can easily remove the background noise while recording any video.
How does Audio Magic Eraser work?
According to Google, Audio Magic Eraser uses AI to easily mute the sound that is not evident in the video. This means that the sound that is loud in the video will be louder and the background music will be muted. While announcing the Pixel 8, the company shows a child speaking in the front while discussing this feature. A dog is barking in the background. Later, the audio magic eraser in the Pixel 8 removes the sound of the dog and only the sound of the child speaking in front is heard.
With the help of this feature powered by AI, the user can also choose which part of the audio to remove. Google has also released a YouTube video showing how this feature works. In that video, Google has shown how it classifies different categories of background noise. In particular, Google has classified background noise as crowd noise, wind blowing, music and other sounds.
When will Audio Magic Eraser be available?
This feature is already available in Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro released by Google. By purchasing this phone, which will be available in the market from October 12, users can use the Audio Magic Eraser feature. Google has not disclosed whether this feature is available on other Pixel phones or not. Also, the features brought by Google for Pixel Seven were made available in Pixel Six. In this way, it is expected that Audio Magic Eraser, which is currently only available in the Pixel 8 series, will also be supported in the Pixel 7.
