Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has extended best wishes to the Nepali cricket team for the upcoming Asia Cup.
In a video message released prior to the premiere of his upcoming film ‘Ghumar,’ Abhishek highlighted that the film is based on a cricket storyline and serves as an inspirational and captivating narrative for Nepali audiences.
“The backdrop of this film is based on cricket’s storyline. I believe it will be both inspirational and enjoyable for Nepali viewers,” said Bachchan, adding, “This is also why I wish the Nepali cricket team all the best for the Asia Cup.”
Abhishek Bachchan shared that he has a long standing dream of visiting Nepal and is eagerly awaiting the opportunity to explore the country.
The film Ghumar directed by Aar Balki, features Abhishek Bachchan, Sabana Azmi, Saimi Kher and Angad Bedi in prominent roles.
Meanwhile, renowned Nepali film distributor Govind Shahi has taken on the distribution of two Bollywood films along with foreign films. Among these, ‘Ghumar’ will be screened starting from Friday.
‘Dream Girl 2,’ featuring Ayushmann Khurrana in a lead role, has been produced by Ekta Kapoor. This film is set to be released on August 25th.
