Nepal has announced its participation in the Asia Cup for the first time. The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has declared Rohit Kumar Paudel as the captain of the team. The Nepali squad consists of 17 members.
For the preparation of the Asia Cup, Nepal will depart for Pakistan a week ahead of time. CAN has informed about this decision. Nepal will be doing its final preparation for the Asia Cup in Pakistan.
The Asia Cup is scheduled to take place from August 30 to September 17 in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. In Group A, there are India, Pakistan, and Nepal. In Group B, there are Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan.
Nepal will play its first match against Pakistan on August 30 in Multan. The second match will be held on September 4 in Kandy, Sri Lanka, where Nepal will face India.

Nepal has announced its final 17-member squad for the upcoming ACC (Asian Cricket Council) One Day Asia Cup, which will be held in Pakistan and Sri Lanka after three weeks. The team will be led by Rohit Kumar Paudel. Notably, the young batter, Dev Khadka, did not make it to the final squad.
Shyam Dakhil, Sandeep Jora, and Kishor Mahato have been given the opportunity in the squad by Nepal. The Asia Cup is scheduled to take place from August 30 to September 17, with Group A consisting of India, Pakistan, and Nepal, and Group B consisting of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan.
Pakistan and Bangladesh have also announced their 17-member squads. Previously, in ICC and ACC tournaments, a team consisted of 15 players. However, for this edition of the Asia Cup, each team will have 17 players.
