In the world, people undertake various endeavors to stand out and gain recognition. Recently, a Nigerian youth went through seven days of continuous crying to set a world record. Tembu Abarale, the young man from Nigeria, attempted to break the record for the longest time spent crying without stopping. He cried for a whole week, trying to achieve this feat, but unfortunately, he did not manage to get his name registered in the Guinness Book of World Records.
During his attempt, Tembu Abarale shed tears persistently for hours on end, but his efforts did not lead to the desired result. Instead, he encountered serious health issues related to his eyes. For about 45 minutes, he partially lost his sight, and even now, a portion of his vision remains impaired. The part of his eyes that suffered the most damage has not recovered yet.
In a conversation with the local media, he mentioned that he had to halt his attempt to cry continuously because he faced severe health problems. He emphasized that he is now partially blind, and his eyes are still struggling to recover fully.
Unfortunately, his name has not been registered in the Guinness World Records as he did not submit an application for the attempt. To establish a record, Tembu Abarale had set up a timer and was continuously crying while being live-streamed. In the video footage, he received support from around 50 lakh viewers and garnered thousands of new followers.
It is essential to mention that attempting extreme feats or breaking records can have serious consequences on one’s health, and individuals should prioritize their well-being and safety above such pursuits.
