A young man has been arrested on charges of assaulting a traffic police constable in Chapagaun, Lalitpur.
According to the police, the arrested individual is Vishwas Rai, 26 years old, who was residing in Chapagaun, Lalitpur, after shifting from his hometown Taplejung.
Rai, who was running a mobile phone shop in Chapagaun, reportedly attacked Traffic Police Constable Sunil Shah and then fled the scene.
After the incident, the police launched an investigation and managed to apprehend Rai. He is currently in custody and is being questioned at the Satdobato Police Station.
