Messi, the former forward of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), made his Major League Soccer (MLS) debut on Saturday morning. In that match, Inter Miami faced Club de Fútbol Monterrey (C.F. Monterrey) from Mexico. Inter Miami emerged victorious with a scoreline of 2-1. Messi contributed a goal during the second half, securing the win for Inter Miami even though he had entered the field as a substitute due to an injury. He scored a brilliant free-kick goal in the 54th minute, taking over Benjamin Krasnich’s position.
Tickets for this game were priced at $314 for the cheapest, $1,294 on average, and $23,737 for the most expensive, according to ticket sources. Miami increased the ticket prices after high demand, but even with the hike, the tickets were in demand. The average price for home games of Inter Miami before this one was around $152, but now it has reached $850 according to international ticketing platforms.
Ticket prices for Inter Miami’s upcoming seven games have seen an increase of 558%, according to ticket sources.
