Coach of Church Boys says: We lost because we could not use the opportunity
Balgopal Maharjan, the coach of the Church Boys Club, responded that they had to lose to the Bhutanese club Paro because they could not use the opportunities they had.
Nepal’s Church Boys Club lost 2-1 to Bhutanese club Paro FC in the playoffs of the AFC Challenge Cup on Tuesday.
Coach Maharjan said that although the ability of both teams is the same, the church boys could not make use of the opportunity. ‘The game was 50-50. “Unfortunately, we could not qualify for the next round,” he said.
Paro FC played many foreign players including Japanese player Keisuke Honda. Maharjan says that this is also one of the reasons for the defeat. He said that there was some weakness in the defense line and the ground was not a good match.
Everyone knows how the field is. It has been 35-40 years, now it is necessary to focus on it. It was like this when we were playing and it is like this now’, Maharjan said.
