China has put a protective shield or shell on the outer part of the space station. It is considered the first exercise in the history of space science. Last week, an old Russian satellite exploded.
Foho started coming towards Tiangang, China’s space station nearby. Before such waste enters the station, China has put armor around the station. This work was done by two astronauts of China’s Shenzhou-18 mission, according to the international media.
In order to protect the space station’s wires and pipelines, both Chinese astronauts spent 6 and a half hours wearing protective shields all around. Meanwhile, Shenzhou-17 astronauts met with journalists yesterday after returning from space.
The three astronauts of the Shenzhou-17 crew mission met with journalists for the first time after returning from space two months ago, Chinese news agency Xinhua reported. The three crew members, Tang Hongbo, Tang Shengji and Jiang Jinlin, are physically and mentally healthy.
China launched the Shenzhou-17 manned spacecraft on October 26, 2023, and the crew returned to Earth on April 30 this year.
