The ICC T-20 Cricket World Cup is starting on Sunday according to Nepali time. According to the western calendar, the opening match on June 1 in Nepal will start at 6:30 am on Sunday.Â
In the opening match, the co-host USA and neighboring Canada will compete. This Group ‘A’ match will be played at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.
The tournament, which is going to be jointly organized by America and West Indies, will end on July 1 as per western time.
20 teams are participating in the competition. On Sunday evening at 8:30 p.m., the co-hosts West Indies and Papua New Guinea will compete. Nepal, which is in Group D, will compete against the Netherlands in the first match on June 4 (5 according to Nepali time).
Nepal’s group also includes test nations like South Africa, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
