The US Embassy in Nepal has claimed that US Deputy Secretary of State Richard Verma’s visit to Nepal was a success. The embassy here has informed through social media that the visit of US Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Richard Verma to Nepal was successful.
During his visit to Nepal, Deputy Foreign Minister Verma met Prime Minister K. P. According to the embassy, they talked with Sharma Oli and Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba about US cooperation and US-Nepal partnership for the plan to build a bright, sustainable and inclusive future for Nepalis.
Dutawa said through the page – ‘At the same time, Deputy Foreign Minister Verma also shared the good news that the US has agreed to support the purchase of more new helicopters to support the Nepali Army in its disaster response efforts. Similarly, he also met with officials of Millennium Challenge Account Nepal to talk about the achievements of MCC Nepal Compact, and had a delicious tea with USAID Nepal’s partner Nepal Tea Collective team in Thamel and also interacted with women entrepreneurs.’
