Kathmandu. The temperature has increased in many parts of the country for the past few days. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, heat has increased especially in Terai region including Kathmandu.
On Monday (June 10), the ‘highest’ temperature was recorded at 44 degrees Celsius in Dhangadhi. The maximum temperature in Dhangadhi was 42.9 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Last Saturday, the maximum temperature of Dhangadhi was measured at 41.9 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature of this year was recorded in Dhangadhi at 44.1 degree Celsius earlier.
Among the details of 20 places released by the division on Monday, the maximum temperature of Nepalgunj was measured at 43.6 degrees Celsius. On Sunday, the maximum temperature of Nepalgunj was 42.6 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature of Nepalgunj was measured at 41.8 degrees Celsius on Saturday. On May 30, the maximum temperature of Nepalgunj was measured at 44.2 degrees Celsius. Govind Jha, meteorologist of the division , informed Bahrakhari that the temperature of Nepalgunj has been the highest so far this year .
