“Nepal’s cricket team’s leading bowler, Sandeep Lamichhane, is set to play his 50th ODI match against Pakistan in the Asia Cup. He is the third Nepali player to achieve this milestone. Prior to this, Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel and Dipendra Singh Airee had achieved this feat. Following Sandeep, Arif Sheikh and Sompal Kami have also played 47 ODIs each.
Until now, Sandeep has taken the most wickets in ODIs, with 111 wickets to his name, along with scoring 367 runs. He made his ODI debut against the Netherlands in August 2018.
In the Asia Cup, the match between Nepal and Pakistan will start at 3:15 PM from Multan Cricket Stadium, with Nepal playing its second match against India on Thursday in the same tournament.”
