KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan Police removed and locked the protestors at Shantibatika in Kathmandu. On Tuesday, all the belongings of the protesters were removed from the protest site.
After being removed from the maitighar in Kathmandu, various groups have been sitting on a dharna at Shantibatika, while some groups have been eating and sleeping by putting up tents at the same place.
According to the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, a sit-in has been made in Shantibatika along with a sit-in and because of that, garbage has been removed from the areas of Ranipokhari and Shantabati.
Those who sat on dharna protested against the move of the metropolis. They said that they were removed without informing the state about their demands. They have expressed their anger that the metropolis confiscated their belongings.
