Kathmandu. After the Jajarkot earthquake, 859 policemen have been mobilized for rescue at the scene. According to the Police Headquarters, a total of 859 manpower has been mobilized in Jajarkot and Rukum West, which were the most affected by the earthquake.
According to the office, 450 manpower has been mobilized from Jajarkot, 320 from Rukum West, 39 from Provincial Police Office and Gan Surkhet, 20 from Chaurjahari Base Camp, 11 from Nepal Police Hospital, 10 from Salyan and 9 from Badepipal Surkhet of IPR.
According to the police, more police can be mobilized as per the need. So far, 138 people have died and 166 people have been injured in the earthquake.
