The Nepali movie ‘Mahajatra’ is set to be made. After the success of ‘Jatra’ and ‘Jatrai Jatra’, production company Shatakon Arts has announced ‘Mahajatra’ as its third installment.
Ravindra Singh Baniya, the producer who was part of the previous series, shared details about this upcoming installment along with Haribansh Acharya, an actor from the previous series. He said, “Mahajatra will include actor Acharya. The success of the previous series has added more responsibilities to us.”
The movie written and directed by Pradeep Bhattarai, will feature actors Haribansh Acharya, Vipin Karki, Varsha Raut and Ravindra Jhaulgaiyat. The filming is set to begin during Dashain and the movie is scheduled to be released on March 9.
Director Bhattarai also provided information that the filming rights, including screening rights in Nepal and outside of Nepal including India, have been sold.
“As we have to showcase Nepal worldwide, we have set the release date accordingly. This journey of direction began with this movie. This series holds a special place for me,” said Director Bhattarai. The films producer is Deepesh Khatri.
