From Bhadra 13, the Nepali cricket team will be participating in the Asia Cup cricket tournament to be held in Pakistan. However, Sandeep Lamichhane, who is a part of the team, is not aware of this. On Tuesday, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) held a press conference and provided information that Sandeep is unaware of going to Pakistan. After the decision was made regarding the issue of child sexual assault allegations against him, he won’t be traveling to Pakistan. He couldn’t attend the hearing on August 32 in the case lodged against him.
Under Rohit Paudel’s captaincy, the Nepali team is set to go to Pakistan. The team includes Asif Sheikh, Kushal Bhurtel, Kushal Malla, Bhim Sarki, Dipendra Singh Airee, Karan KC, Gulshan Jha, Sompal Kami, Kishor Mahato, Pratish GC, Shyam Dhakal, Sandeep Jora, Lalit Rajbanshi, and Arjun Sah. The first match between Nepal and Pakistan will take place on Bhadra 13. Nepal will also play its second match against India.
This year’s Asia Cup cricket tournament is scheduled to take place from August 30 to September 17 in Pakistan and Sri Lanka
