The winner of the singing competition ‘Mero voice Unirbhars’ in Nepal held at the Sunrise Conference Hall in Godavari on Saturday evening is Pritham Rai from Sikkim.
He emerged as the winner in the final competition. Along with the victory Rai has won a cash prize of 10 million Nepalese Rupees.

Shishir Thatal secured the position of the first runner-up and won a cash prize of 3 million Nepalese Rupees.
Sard Huma Gai the second runner-up, received a cash prize of 2 million Nepalese Rupees while Pares Rai became the third runner-up with a prize of 550,000 Nepalese Rupees.
Saeran Khatri the fourth runner-up, received recognition as well.
The awards were distributed to the winners by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda himself.
The event was attended by dignitaries including Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire. ministers and political party leaders.
The competition aimed to promote and preserve the rich diversity of Nepali ethnicity and to keep the Nepali language and culture vibrant.
It was organized with the intention of nurturing unity among the various Nepali communities spread around the world.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda extended his best wishes to the winners of ‘Mero Bhawis Unirbhars’ and ‘Mero Dance Unirbhars’ units.
The meeting with the winners took place at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Sunday.
The Prime Minister expressed his desire to see Nepal’s unity in the diversity through these units.
He was informed by participating artist Mithila Sharma about the thematic representation of ‘A Nepali Always Remains a Nepali’ in the competition.

According to Sharma, during the meeting the Prime Minister praised the successful organization of the program and thanked the participants, judges and organizers who came from abroad for their contribution.
The meeting also discussed the international level program organized by the Intra National Welfare and Support Foundation to connect the Prime Minister with the country’s art and culture.
The meeting with the Prime Minister was attended by about three dozen participating artists including Mithila Sharma, Keki Adhikari, Deep Shrestha, Suresh Adhikari, Anju Pant and Shiv Pariyar.
The Intra National Welfare and Support Foundation of America organized the first international Nepali reality shows ‘Mero Bhawis Unirbhars’ and ‘Mero Dance Unirbhars’.

The decision-making panels for ‘Mero Bhawis Unirbhars’ and ‘Mero Dance Unirbhars’ included Suresh Adhikari, Shiv Pariyar, Anju Pant, Sujata Verma, Pushpan Pradhan, among others.
Similarly for ‘Mero Dance Unirbhars’, the panel comprised Mithila Sharma, Dilip Rayamajhi, Shankar BC, Keki Adhikari, Priyanka Karki, and Naraman Rai.

The winner of the competition will receive one crore Nepalese Rupees the first runner-up will receive 30 lakhs and the second runner-up will receive 20 lakhs Nepalese Rupees.
