My brother and the ‘Mero Bhawai UniVerse’ dance competition’s final round is scheduled to take place this Saturday. The winners of both competitions, organized by the Intra Nepal Welfare and Support Foundation of America, will receive substantial cash prizes.
The top winner will receive 1 crore rupees the second-place winner will receive 30 lakh rupees and various other awards will be given to participants. The grand finale of both competitions will be broadcasted live on Nepal Television from the Sunrise Conference Hall in Godavari on Saturday evening.
In the singing competition ‘Mero Bhawai UniVerse,’ the final five contestants include Shishir Thata, Pritam Rai, Sairaj Khatri from Darjeeling, Paresh Rai from Sankhuwasabha, and Sharad Humagai from Kabhre.
Similarly, in the dance competition ‘Mero Dance UniVerse,’ the final five contestants are Mina Di Lepcha from Sikkim, Khushi Karki from Thailand, Devi Garvuja Magar from Belgium, and Swastik Aryal from Mahottari and Gorakha’s Sushma Magar.
These competitions have garnered attention worldwide over the past three months highlighting the talent of Nepali artists across the globe. Despite being proud of representing Nepal and their motherland the participants also aim to excel individually and showcase their success in the final competition.
The winners of both competitions will receive substantial cash prizes with the aim of promoting unity among different Nepali communities worldwide and keeping the Nepali language and culture alive.
The Foundation’s President, Delhi Adhikari expressed the intention to further refine and expand these programs in the coming years, aiming to make them globally recognized and impactful.
The decision-makers for the singing competition ‘Mero Bhawai UniVerse include singers Deep Shrestha, Suresh Adhikari, Anju Pant, Pushpan Pradhan, Sujata Barma. For the dance competition ‘Mero Dance UniVerse,’ the judges include actors Mithila Sharma, Shankar Bisi, Dilip Rayamajhi, Priyanka Karki, Keki Adhikari and Naraman Rai.
The Foundation screened talents from various 52 countries last year for these competitions. From these auditions, 120 participants in singing and 120 participants in dancing were selected from three countries to compete in Nepal after three months.
The final rounds held on Saturday will determine the winners of both competitions. These competitions not only offer significant cash prizes but also provide a platform for Nepali artists to shine and compete on an international level showcasing the diverse talent within the Nepali community around the world.
