Famous Brazilian agent André Cury has claimed that Brazilian star Neymar was invaluable for Paris Saint Germain PSG. In an interview Cury made the claim that Neymar’s transfer to PSG was the best transfer ever.
According to Cury Neymar transfer opened the doors for other players transfers as well. He stated that after Neymar arrival players like Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé and other big stars also became possible transfer targets for PSG. Cury believes that PSG made significant profits in marketing after Neymar arrival.
Neymar contributions to PSG were considered invaluable and he was regarded as the cheapest player in the club history despite the high transfer fee paid by PSG to FC Barcelona in 2017.
Neymar’s transfer to PSG for €222 million was considered unbelievable. After Neymar arrival other star players like Messi, Mbappé, and others also joined the club. Cury mentioned that PSG spent €220 million on Neymars transfer and subsequently acquired Mbappé. In 2021 Messi also joined PSG.
